At 2 minute mark . He sees the arm, and then gets him arrested where in turn the patient ultimately has his arm sawed off. Wtf, don't they take an oath to help their patient? Harry should have sued.

It's the plot of the story following itself down to it's natural outcome?

Better just to focus on the general principles, than to quibble about the minutiae?
