you're bald

(or combo of both)


You can guarantee that if every baldie out there with a big beard had the choice, they'd drop the beard and have a full head of hair EVERY TIME.

I knew right away what OP meant. Most guys do. Only the contrarian, hair splitting, humunculi on this forum will be so willfully ignorant that they will fully believe they don't know what it is, even though if they even just attempted to be a regular person, they would immediately get it right if they guessed.

Imagine cutting off a natural part of your body because society tells you to. Literally grooming yourself to a societal beauty standard lol. Pathetic. There's definitely something psychological to having a beard. I feel more secure and safe somehow when I grow mine out, and I like how I look better. I feel more masculine. A beard IS masculine.

Every man who can have a nice thick beard should IMO. And if you can't then it probably means you have great hair on the top of your head... grow that **** out too and be a samurai.

Guys who just don't care, work outside alot, etc. and have stubble to a normal beards are not what they are talking about.

But so many use a beard as man makeup, trying to either hide a bad chin, ugly face, or to present some sort of conforming non-conformist aura or to look more manly than they really are. The hipster or soy boy types.

If your beard is part of your personality or a large part of your thought process in any given day, you are one of "those guys".

For reference, I can grow a full beard easily and quickly. A few times throughout the years I couldn't shave for a few weeks and I hated it (1/4" whiskers in about 3 days crew)

Beards are just to hide poor jawline genetics. I’m bald and most of the time either clean shaven or 2-3 day growth.
