I love driving and take it at a moderate speed, I'm never annoyed if I'm held up by a slow driver. I keep well out of the way of stupid fast drivers. I get to my destination with no stress and enjoy the journey.

dont mind slow drivers at all, but almost all hwy traffic starts when a slow driver tries to overtake a slightly slower driver. they don't realize overtaking is an event that shouldn't take long and you should speed up a little to get it over with. drive education is a joke in the US

Obv speed up when merging most of the time. But most traffic is actually caused by accidents or lane bottlenecks.

If you're overwhelmed driving and reacting to traffic at the allowed speed limit you're not capable of driving and should stick to public transport IMO. But as long as you stay in the slow lane, the saftey risk to other drivers is tolerable I guess.

Not true.....If you're driving slowly you are disrupting the flow of traffic. You shouldn't be "reacting" to the flow of traffic. By definition you should be "in" it...hence the word "flow"

I put on cruise control, about 5-10 above the speed limit and just watch the road/other drivers. I'm not racing or switching lanes every 30 seconds like some guys.

I was going on a banked freeway on-ramp, 2 lanes merging into 1. I'm in the left lane, a gas tanker truck is in the right lane with his left blinker on.

I stayed basically on his hip and behind him, and took the turn at his speed which is like 20 MPH. People behind me are honking and chit... like bish. I'm not going to race a tanker down a merge. Like what's the expected value here... say there's a 1% chance of me getting pinched on the sidewall, vs you getting on the highway 5 seconds faster. Safety still wins.

Only drive fast when no one else is on the road or it's 'safe' to do so or showing up people in sports cars driving like grandmas.
