What kind of freak leaves their bedroom window open when they sleep?

SRS, before I go to sleep I double check that all the doors are locked and my windows are shut. In all these horror movies and shows these stupid ppl leave their windows open... tsk tsk. anyone actually do this irl, why lol

They can also open from the top so can’t get through them.

Probably half or more of Norwegians sleep with bedroom window open during winter in ARCTIC climate. 15 degrees fahrenheit & we still wont close window. Blanketmaxxing instead.

I like sleeping with windows open, on cooler nights, but only windows that are secure and not big enough for someone to crawl through.

I don't sleep well when in an open house.

We have One bedroom window slightly open, not every window in the house geek.

My parents always have window open, grandparents, wives parents. Several coworkers. Ask any Norwegian and they will tell you its normal to sleep with window open during winter.

We dont use ovens in every room when its slightly cold & AC when its slightly warm. Thats AMERICAN culture.

ac when slightly warm is to remove humidity, which can damage electronics/furniture etc. but lol at coldcells bragging about how much cold they can take, the body adapts over time to local climate. there isn't one person adapted to the cold that can go straight to the equator and not die from the summer heat. same goes the other way around. but after a month it gets much better as you adapt.

bedrooms are upstairs.
only have windows open beginning of summer or end of summer when evenings are cool enough to lower the temp in the bedroom.
otherwise i have the AC on.
