Yeah when I was new to online dating. I was in a relationship when online dating took off so got a late start on it.
I was naïve and treated these girls like they were real people and was just sort of assertive and straight-forward because that’s what worked for me before online dating existed.
Holy **** did that not work lol. Once I kinda realized that all dating app girls are easily spooked and have some many options that it’s much easier for them to get rid of “what they don’t want” vs look for something they do want, it became a lot easier for me.
Some tips I recommend.
Don’t be too assertive. It comes off as pushy to their fragile sensibilities. Instead of saying “are you free this weekend I would like to take you out” Or “do you want to come watch a movie at my place on Tuesday” etc try something a little more open ended and casual. “Idk if you’re around this week but if you want to go out I think we would have a good time.” By leaving it pretty opened and casual, you don’t box yourself in to a certain date or time for her to go “I’m busy that date” and now you’re fishing to find a date and time.
Also never tell the girl you liked her or had a good time after the date. I never got ghosted for an actual date because I would always do some sort of confirmation text before I left for the date and they always responded. But they didn’t answer me on that, there’s no way I’m showing up somewhere to look like a fool.
The only times I was ghosted after a first date is when I told the girl I liked her or showed too much interest. Again I was very naive. some of these girls I actually really liked off the bat and thought we hit it off really well. To me, this was a new experience and I thought I was genuinely connecting with someone in a meaningful. I was honest and putting myself out there. To them, I was date 3 out of 4 that week and had been through 40 online dates already. I didn’t really comprehend that their dopamine receptors had been blown out by Instagram and they had 100 matches of guys just like me sitting in their purse. Girls can’t handle this much choice and why they are all bat**** insane and mostly miserable these days.
Eventually I learned that on the first few dates, it was best to reveal as little about myself as possible. Girls are basically vetting you at this point to see if there’s anything about you that they DONT WANT, just to next you to find “the right one.”
All the times I got ghosted or nexted, I told stories about myself, my friends my past etc. funny personal anecdotes. This is the kiss of death. Reveal as little about yourself as possible and just ask her a bunch of questions. Now you know more about her, than she does about you. That makes you “interesting” to her. Now she’s thinking “omg I can’t believe I told him about ______, that’s so embarrassing, I’m so stupid lol”
By doing that and not seeming too eager for a second/ 3rd date I had a lot more success. But I had to learn to truly not care.
And by the 2nd or 3rd date it has to be at either your place or her place to “hangout” and you have a make a move.

Just happened to me actually
No sweat, it’s a numbers game
Anyways all it means is that you’re not good enough in her eyes and probably not good enough in the eyes of all women around her level - so either accept this and date lower or level up
