Plus some of the starbucks I went to have the worst customer service.

Ya know....I've had StarCucks 1nce in my life.......was about 12 years ago while out Christmas shopping, stopped at the one in the book store in the mall, got an Americano, took one sip and dopped it in the garbage as I walked back out into the mall.

Never went back.

I hope this bankrupts them and they fall off the face of the earth.

can't imagine paying money for that crap coffee.

if you don't like the pay, get some skill and get another job. A job at places like [starbucks, mcdonalds, KFC etc] isn't supposed to support a family, it's for teenagers and college kids to make some coin while working part time, and maybe an adult to supplement their income with a side gig.

Yea, I wanna work 30 hours at a mindless gig and get paid enough to support my household, but guess what, that's not reality

Regardless of what opinion you have on unionizing this is so fuking wrong lmao.

The job is easy until you're stuck working hot bar and cold bar with no help during a rush. Working the espresso bar and cold bar is probably the most difficult part of the job. Just when you think it's getting easy you get some phlaggot ordering 5 drinks, each with 10 unique customizations. Karen on the other side of the counter asking where her drink is (but she only ordered 2 minutes ago), customers trying to talk your ear off while you're in the zone trying to pull shots.

You boys don't even know.

This issue is simple. The shift staffing isn't matching the demand, and it's it's not an issue of how much they're getting paid...Staffing. Staffing. Staffing.

fire every last one of them and literally nothing will be lost. in fact each one of the stores profit margins would instantly go up via not paying 10 people to do 1 kuerig’s job

no set of employees annoy me more than starbucks employees. they even call themselves “barristas” as if its some sort of special category of fast food worker. attention seeking kunts at every level. from their neon hair color, to their wacky names, even down to their fuking union flag representing everything obnoxious in american culture
