Oled is the best as long as you are in a light controlled environment. They aren't as good in a brightly lit room.

It's hard to notice the difference with a good non-OLED tv. OLEDcels are just fooling themselves and making excuses because they wasted a lot of money.

Have had a OLED TV for the past 3 years. For me, it was definitely worth it and one of the best purchases I’ve made lately. It does depend on where you plan on putting it (darkness of room) and what you’ll be using it for. I primarily watch movies, sports, and gaming which it is great for.

Oled is like you're really there and not looking at a screen

Led tech still looks like a screen with the limited contrast, mediocre viewing angles, lower response times etc

Oled makes everything look great even 1080p stuff from like 15 years ago

Ya lg oled in bedroom and a sony qled (they call it something else but its the same tech) in living room.

If youre watching a movie with the lights off then ya the oled is noticeably better imo, but not too far off. For everything else, i dont notice much of a diffetence in picture quality at all, however ive never done any gaming on either so i cant speak to that.

I actually ordered an OLED and when they never shipped the fuking thing, got cold feet, cancelled it and got a $1200 LED instead. I got cold feet over all the people complaining about burn in.

I guess it depends. OLED is the best but the higher end LEDs are a huge improvement over the cheap ass ones. More local dimming zones and things like that.


My TV is 5 years old already, next TV I will consider OLED and see what is out there at that time. I dont even use the TV nearly as much as a lot of people so I think risk of burn in is pretty low.

I bought a Samsung QLED 2-3 months ago and recently bought the LG C2 which just came in. Took a couple days to calibrate it to my liking and today is my first day using it and holy fk it's on another level. Chit is actual sorcery.

The QLED is great, don't get me wrong. Fantastic even but unless your room is really bright, if you chose that over the OLED ya dun goof'd boy

OLED is leaps and bounds ahead simply because of true blacks. This allows for every color to have a much wider range.

The first time you watch a good quality 4K Dolby Vision movie on a new OLED is amazing. QLED is not new tech, it simply is a different version of LED, which itself is an improvement upon ancient LCD tech.

Depends on the set, but LG and Sony are the kings of OLED now. Some cheap Chinese sets exist, but they’re what you expect.

I got a 77” C1 early Jan, and the C2 is the current new LG version. Sonys Bravia line is very impressive too. The jump form 77” to 83” is insane though. Like 2-3k.

My “old” TV is a Samsung PNF8500 and I prefer how it looks compared to any LED out there, as it was a top of the line Plasma (which was also superior to LED) when it debuted.

Honestly? Bought one almost two years ago. Still cant get over how good chit looks. The colors are insane.
