Don’t start with full bodied red or dry white imo.

American wines are generally easy drinking. I don’t drink American wine any more but they are a good place to start.

Don’t drink wine like it’s beer….💀

No, wine is gay. They say you gotta grow into it. Why would I grow into drinking something that tastes like chit?

I enjoy any oaky red wine with a steak.

Last one was Jordan Cabernet. I like cheap chit too, I’ll drink anything red with a steak. Don’t drink a single drop of wine for any other reason.

Go to Costco, they have a ton of good $20 bottles with score/ratings. Get a merlot, malbec, shiraz, etc, and try them and see what style you like the best, and then you can start trying different vineyard and really dial in your taste.

These. Also, don’t drink it like you would any other drink. My ex and I went to an intro wine tasting class and most important thing I learned was to aerate the wine. Sniff it, sip it, swirl the wine around in the glass for a bit, then sniff and sip again. You’ll definitely taste the difference.

Small sips, really try to identify flavors. Cheese really enhances the flavors and actually makes the wine come off as a little sweeter if that’s your thing.

You’ll find your flavors. I learned I like Argentinian varietals for some reason.

YES. Full of antioxidants, and good for your body.

Also, I like its taste.

Used to enjoy red wine on occasion.
Over the last few years I've adopted the position that no alcohol is good alcohol though, so I stopped completely.

You just have low class tastes, embrace it and move on rather than trying to force yourself to like something you do not.

My favorite wine is a Pinot Noir though, if you haven't tried it, and a lot of red blends these days are nice and have a profile which would lend themselves to those new to wine.

every so often I'll drink wine with a few wine loving neighbors. They buy high point red wines to try them out. It isn't my thing so much, but can be nice spending time with friends.

Different organizations score wines. The wines will be giving a score up to 100 being the best. everyone seems to have their opinions on who scores wines the best. The high score wines do taste better than lower scored wines, though overall I don't believe the score difference in taste to be that great.

I'm a wine drinker.
Alot if people are pretty dumb and don't know that sparkling wine is the same chit as champagne.
I love champagne, especially rose.
Try champagne/sparkling wine bro.

I don't drink very often and pretty much never drink wine (I brew beer) but I remember really liking the taste and overall profile of a cabernet sauvignon. Full of deep flavor.
