Either option is fine.
1. Silence is fine since you owe him nothing and aren't actually friends. It would just bring added drama to your life.
2. It is morally wrong what she's doing so telling him would be in an act of good faith. What he does with it is up to him.

If it was a close friend I would say something right away. If I just knew him I would just stay out of it. I learned to pick and choose my battles. I focus much more on my own actions than others when taking into account being moral. At the end of the day you can only control your own actions.

If we don't take responsibility to make the world a better place then who else is going to?
