Being raised by a single mother vs. 2 gay dad's. Which is worse?

I personally think being raised by 2 gay dad's has to be the worst thing you can do as a child. Think of how mentally messed up that kid is going to end up for countless reasons. The kid raised by a single mother still has a chance at a normal life.

I mean, 90% of these "gay dudes" I see who adopt kids end up with pretty fruity oriented adopted kids as said kids become older more often than not. Most lulzy part about the whole thing is how they pretend like that's some sort of coincidence, and they demand that we all play along.


Single mother situations are also far less than ideal, but I'd say you still got at least a solid coin flip of a shot that they turn out halfway decent overall. Far worer than what we'd like to see? Yes. Better odds than the afformentioned parenting situation? Also yes.

We'll have to wait and see how the statistics work. As of now, being raised in a single mother household with an absent father increases the likelihood of children going to prison, being violent, drug abuse, mental health problems and suicide.

Assuming no p3dos are in the mix [parents or adults dating a parent] then I tend to think that a female child would probably do better with a single mom and a male child would probably do better with 2 dads.

Because I've heard that boys are less able to thrive with less parenting which is inherent in only one parent and I think it would be tough for two men to understand and model being a girl/woman.

No stats but since majority of single parent homes are mother's, the statistics will trend towards them.

I was raised by a single mom, who turned super religious after I was born. Our church was a major part of our lives, and our church also wouldn’t allow two gay dads to attend.

Article shows that children in same sex couple parents reduces childhood delinquency. also, adolescent boys are more prone to become delinquent being raised by their mothers compared to adolescent girls. Interestingly enough, adolescent boys being delinquent increase while living under single father homes.

I think there are a couple of apolitical factors at play:

- available parental time/attention

- intentionality


Two gay men raising a child must WANT to have children. They aren't going to have an *oops* baby. So you are screening out gay men who aren't interested in parenting.

And, duh, two adults should be able to provide more time and attention than one adult.
