Before that, no products had tamper resistant caps or safety seals, no need. And people rarely locked house or car doors. (Car door locks were originally created to keep doors from opening in a crash)

Solid suggestions. Office Space is one of my favorites. Mike Judge was behind that one (Beavis and Butthead creator). His stuff today is pretty good too.

Pee Wee’s Big Adventure is an all time classic as well. Only movie i know of that had the combined genius of Paul Ruebens, Tim Burton , AND Phil Hartman

It was years later that I found out Pee-Wee's girlfriend was the hot signer in Better Off Dead (80's flick) with John Cusak..a fine film in itself

I made a thread about this a while back. Late 90’s/early 2000’s was the peak of humanity. The best blend of advanced technology but not enough that it had completely taken over our lives.

It’s been all downhill as a society since. I will say that there is good entertainment now, it’s just shifted into short video format and memes. There’s still a lot of good comedy gold, but it’s less social. You used to go to the movies with friends and laugh at stuff. Everyone all saw the same things so everyone could relate. Now, there’s funny videos, but people watch them sitting alone in their house and no one watches the same things as each other.

The content is now so short and there’s so much of it, that even if you see something funny, you’re going to forget about it in minutes. People to this day still quote movies like dodgeball, Zoolander, anchorman, etc. Now? People don’t even remember what the funny video they saw yesterday was about.

The 90's had some great high school movies....I can't even imagine what high school is like these days, and I graduated in 2006.

I just picture everyone walking the hallways staring down at their phone, and recording everything the teacher does.


Some great 90's high school movies that havent been mentioned.

Varsity Blues- Depicts the jock culture in football very well.

Can't Hardly Wait- Depicts what I think a high school party in the late 90's would look like.
