-32 in Wyoming tonight.
Wind-chill could bring it into the -50's. My battery in my truck froze and bloated up, luckily I work at a shop where I bought another one to get home. My truck's body made noises I've never heard before on the way home.
Is my tour over? Hopefully my sheepskin wagon will retain heat from the wood stove.

Not sure why anyone would want to live in that. I grew up in Michigan and worked as a race horse trainer for 20 years...every day outside....and it drove me crazy from late Nov to May.
Live in S Cal now and while the govt sucks...the people for the most part are fine.
And today is 72 and sunny with no humidity. Love it.

I know people bag on Cali for the politics, but I do hear it's an incredible state to live in and great weather year round.

I live in scandinavia, cold as fuark. What we usually do, is get a bunch of burly men together before night time, then cozy up in an octagonal spoon formation and letting the juices flow generously to keep warm.

But wow does the weather suck for 8 months.
I go to Vegas once a month or so and if you can get a place in Summerlin I would rec it. Great area.

The income disparities can be drastic. Casper (where I live) feels like an inner city in some places, yet only has a population of about 58k. A 1/3 of workers in this state make less than $15hr. Insecurities and piss attitudes at work and in bars are common. Alcoholism is unfortunately a big issue too. Wyoming is #1 in DUI's by a decent distance from second.I’m in nj it gets cold but not like that, what’s it like in Wyoming aside From the weather ?
I love the state, but work can be tough to find the right gig, and unfortunately Casper and Cheyenne aren't my top places to live. If I retire here, I'll most likely move to Cody or Gillette.

Had to sell my beater car because the heater matrix sprung a leak and they dont make the part for that car anymore, so I had no cabin heat. 1 week of -4 to 0 degree days was enough for me to want to kill myself. Cant even imagine anything colder than that
