I would say to try at least until you are in your 40s to reach your goal. It's cliche but you miss 100% of the shots you never try to make. If you get to your 40s then it will be a lot more less likely that you get what you want at least and not massively settle. People should live whatever lifestyle they want if they aren't hurting anyone though so you should do whatever you think is best for you.

I've definitely witnessed that here. Women tend to date up a class and men typically date down. Most women, in my experience use the man, some don't even realize it, get free rent, free drinks and food when they go out. I mean, can you blame these women for those perks? In the end, most of the time those relationships don't work, it's just a short to long term benefit, then they get pregnant, which results in even more money for them.

I've never stooped to low class or lower than me, I always tried to date up and it typically worked out, but it was a challenge. Now days, it's not an issue, I'm always dating down unless it's a doctor or a girl with generational wealth, which I'm not interested in the issues that sort of wealth brings.

That is actually really deep insight.

At first I thought it might be intimidation so I tried a softer approach. Pretty much same result. I even strategized to only connect on topics in their realm and stay with convo topics they propose. I subtly felt they thought they were being played too. I was never really playing though I would take them serious. Income gap were on average probably around 500% so it was quite substantial.

On the flip side I have had success with high class woman but again I never was 100% comfortable. Maybe the life style is just as shocking from low income to upper middle class even though I don't see it.

I honestly don't even care. And yes if it was a successful relationship free rent, drinks, food etc would be available. Along with vacations, travel and other benefits of upper middle class. Even networking and personal growth.

From middle to upper middle I see this a lot, middle class woman are looking for that upper middle class guy. There is still a huge gap to upper class even from upper middle so you don;t really see that jump from middle to upper very often though they would do it. I think even the upper class guy would have more difficulty in the lower class bracket. I think their is a wall or as the other brah put they feel they don't deserve it. Low class is actually rough if you think about it, so maybe they have additional defense if they feel preyed on.

It is strange to me.

Personally, I've lived modestly for a long time, to avoid the women trying to date up. I want a girl that's actually interested in me, not my finances. Luckily I found one and we had the same upbringing, but I would be one class above now, but yes, it is odd.

There is this phenomena of "acting like the White man"

Basically, if you talk about the weather, boats, cars, aviation kayaking, tv shows on stream, or commuting. You have shut yourself away from common people.

These things require money to do, it's similar to all the crackheads on this site pretending they have the money to "enjoy" the amenities of CA if you rent. Basically if you are poor, you can't really enjoy thing that require money.

Tone down your hobbies and act like the typical Mexican in your neighborhoods. A lot of poorer white women think anyone who isn't White is "exotic". It's similar to meeting a white chick who is obsessed with anime and speaks Japanese, many on the misc would deem her "exotic" and would be instantly attracted to her.
