Never heard the misc say that for men. It's true that almost any woman who isn't fat, with a little care, can find someone average at least, but men have to put in more effort than that.

However, building some muscle, losing fat, nice hair style (or shaved head) good fashion and grooming, can usually bump a man 1-2 points. That's a big difference for an average guy.

Depends on which problem you are referring to, as I think there are two problems on display in this thread:

1. The generally worsening of the social/dating climate for average men.

I'm pretty good looking, dress nice, make 85k/year, have my own place etc.... I am attracted to 5/10s as long as they're asian and 8+ white girls. A guy like me should not be struggling.
