First Christmas without my mom, hold me brahs

My mom passed away back in June. I was a single child and grew up a momm'as boy my entire life. My wife and I with our 3 year old celebrated Christmas yesterday, and while it was great for my 3 year old, I have found myself extremely depressed. I am the glass is always half full guy, but man I can't kick this depression and thoughts right now. Nothing feels the same or normal, everything is out of sync and its a struggle to do anything. Hold me brahs. I know it shall pass but fuk is it a downer right now.

As a mama’s boy myself, I can imagine how that must suck. Not only am I a mama’s boy, my mom is the center of our family. She loves holidays and makes them memorable. I’m sure your mom was the same. Stay strong.

That's really tough. It's not going to be easy. One day you will find peace, and the fond memories you revisit in your mind of your mom will emit tears of joy, instead of sadness.
it's better to suck dink than to be killed

"My outer appearance was poor, but in this way my inner world became richer than anyone else's. Was it not natural that a young boy who suffered from an indelible drawback like mine should have come to think that he was a secretly chosen being? I felt as though somewhere in this world a mission awaited me of which I myself still knew nothing." --Yukio Mishima

I am so sorry.I'm sure the first holidays without her will be extremely difficult and it's perfectly normal to feel the sadness that you do.
