The thing is these so called Russo Ukrainians are easily swayed by actual Russians into doing bad things in the name of their livelihoods. You know how many Ukrainian young men died fighting in Donbas pre/post 2014? For what? I promise it wasn't because these Russo Ukrainians were living in peace and were being assaulted by Ukrainians in their lands. Ukrainians who think this way live in West Ukraine, and have no reason to go into poor farmlands in the East. When humanity crimes start happening what exactly do you expect Ukraine to do? How do you think they took Crimea so quickly?

Why did so many Ukrainian men volunteer for neonazi battalions to kill the separatists? Again, why not just let people fuking speak Russian? You're dodging the law aspect. Ukraine went after their language. Ukraine tried to revise their history. The nationalists are the problem, not the Russians of Donbass.

The Russian Ukrainians in Donbas shot down a commercial airliner and killed hundreds of innocent people, and they aren't the problem? Come on buddy.

That happened much later, and was likely due to stupidity rather than malice as there was no reason to shoot it down. That still doesn't answer my question.

Lmao ruskies getting pushed back in Bakhmut and now cry to the MoD that they need more ammo because they're getting waxxed. Russian military can't even take a little town from ZSU although they concentrate all their efforts there for the last six months. Maybe north korea can get them some shells left over from the korean war or Burkina Faso can get them so dynamite from the blood diamond mines.
Meanwhile ukrainian forces repeatedly fly drones into one of the most important air bases in russia. And always there's CCTV of the impacts but ruskies claim that drones have been shot down and always there three dead. Can't make this chit up.

I mean there have been coverups, but my understanding is it was literally some moron making a terrible mistake and then everyone covering it up to try to dodge responsibility.

This is the entire problem with their whole military dude. It has been pillaged by people in power, and then everything stemming from not having funds is blamed on men down the totem pole til nothing make sense and everyone blames each other.

Yep. There's a whole book on this called The Dictator's Army. Basically authoritarian militaries often, but don't always, suck. It's the pressure to be a yes man and corruption.

I've mentioned it before, ITT, but guessing you probably didn't see my post.

I'm Ukrainian-Russian (super srs). My grandfather on my dads side is Ukrainian, on my moms side it's a mix of Russian + other ethnicities. My surname is Ukrainian… If you're from either Russia or Ukraine and you look at my last name, you will assume I'm Ukrainian…

My family immigrated to the U.S. in 1990, I was barely 2 years old. So I grew up here in the states, I'm a U.S. citizen, as is everyone else in my family. People living in Ukraine or Russia would consider me “Americanized”. But I still try to hold close ties to my Slavic heritage, I can speak the language, my reading is pretty poor though and writing is non-existent.

In my household, my parents spoke Russian.

See you have skin in the game on all sides and just want the war to stop. That's why you have the same position as me. Anyone neutral can very clearly see what the problem is and what led us to this point.

According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration Head Haidai, russians have left their headquater in Kremina due to pressure from ukrainian forces that are close to take the town.

I think it is the "Anti-Zelensky" crowd that are not Russian or Ukrainian (or even East European), versus the openly pro-Russia that are almost all either Russian, Russian ancestry, or East European. There is a difference between the two. I think on the pro-Ukraine side it is a blur as I see the Westerners and the Ukrainians/East Europeans post similar points.

In russia, if you go out with a "no to war" placard, you will immediately be jailed for 15 days and pay a $500 fine, so you should have only one opinion.
In Ukraine, if you go out with a placard saying "Zelensky is a ***got" you won't get anything from the law enforcement.

so I don't really understand your word "blur".

And on top of that, reading Ukrainian, Russian and Western media, all are very different from one another mostly.

Man walking around Moscow with a Ukrainian flag, not arrested or anything. He was cursed at, though, by a couple of people, but most didn't even care.. At the end, the kid in the video says he wishes for there to be peace.

Now let's see someone walking around Kiev or Odessa or Kharkov with a Russian flag and see how quickly they get attacked and beaten...or tied up to a pole and thrown green paint at...
