Rate dinner/10

First time cooking venison that was given to me by a neighbor. Decided to try a slow cooker marinated sweet teriyaki steak venison. Threw in some carrots and served over some white rice.

How do you like it? First time i ever had venison it messed with my brain:taste bud ratio. Looked like steak but tasted nothing like steak. Then again have only had it plain or salt/pepper.

Looks good. Would feast. Reminds me a bit of a braised lamb shank dish I make occasionally when the weather is on the colder side.

Looks delicious!! I love seasoned rice so much so will use yellow rice or something other than white or brown with all my meals. Topped with a little crushed red pepper. I haven’t had that cut of meat in a while, I’ll check my international food market.

It was very good! I had venison once as a kid and it was cooked awful and tasted terrible. I still have nightmares to this day. Decided to give it a try again and come with something that might taste good. Glad I did.
