Midnight reminder: Don’t let this place get you down, mate!

Misc is very intense but don’t take anything anyone says here to heart. Just a reminder. Continue living on with your life. I’m saying this because there was a black thread earlier here (it’s gone now) that was absolutely mind-boggling. I mean even by misc standards, holy cheddar man. All white dudes raging

Level of ignorance was so high. Apparently nobody here knows you can wash dreadlocks. You just stay musty and dirty. Just lol. That is absolutely hilarious. Not even going to repeat some of the other comments because they were just out of pocket. And not trolling, but serious.

Also, take that as constructive criticism, not a personal dig at you. I can acknowledge that I can't say I personally know what it's like to be a minority in America, so no, I don't fully "get it". All I ask in return is that you don't pretend like you know what my life is like, either, because I've had plenty of my own bs to deal with that I'd never wish on anyone. Honestly, I'm sick of skin color being considered a normal topic of discussion in the first place.

Aw dude, I thought that guy who said that was trolling, obviously I don’t think you guys are Nazis. But it was a very weird thread. Like a white person has the freedom to feel they’re a victim in not trying to offend certain people, but to make a thread and say that kind of stuff about a whole race is very hypocritical. Because what are you changing then at that point? And then a bunch of people joined this one dude and, see what I mean?

You’re right, I would rather not talk about race online anyway. That’s just me. But it just amazed me how little certain people knew about black people here. And to be blatantly offensive (so many comments ending in “srs”) so openly with that limited knowledge is called ignorance.
