it's just you posting replies to yourself in this thread

when you hear voices do they talk to you or at you? can you hold conversations with them?

have you tried painting when you're experiencing an episode? you could sell it as abstract art and be a zillionaire

some people talk to their voices they hear in their heads. I don't have audible hallucinations like that. Just a thought problem. and yes, I love abstract art.

ya clozaril is kinda messed up. It is my last resort medication. I've been on so many different pills and none of them worked even at all the different dosages. Clozaril was my last resort.

Thats what I figured.
Just got to be mindful of the side effects and staying up on appointments.

Had a lady I knew who took Clozaril and she was night and day when being on/off.

Being compliant is a pain in the ass.

I'm very sorry you have to live with that, OP. It must be rough.

I've read that schizophrenics often experience mental disturbances even before they develop schizophrenia. They might feel increasingly anxious or withdrawn as a teenager and then have a psychotic breakthrough a few years later. I've also read that schizophrenics sometimes become become extremely sensitive to light and sound before the breakthrough and that this can feel like a religious experience. Did anything like that happen to you?

Many schizophrenics smoke pot (and cigarettes). There are conflicting opinions about whether marijuana makes schizophrenia worse or is just a way to alleviate the symptoms. I'm curious if you have an opinion on that.

I remember hearing voices in my teenage years. I started doing really weird things that I wouldn't normally do. in 2006 I was sent to a psych ward and it was freaky, I literally thought it was a place for people with superheroes, like xmen movies. I lived with my delusions and mood disorder all the way until I was diagnosed a few years later, perhaps in 2012?. I smoke weed and cigarettes and I know I shouldn't.

my psychiatrist told me to stay away from the sun. I'm not sure why though.
