He's definitely not wrong. Ukraine militarily was defeated early on, even with the bracing of this eventual invasion as it was expected by US/"Western" intel. No one doubts that this is a NATO fight against Russia now, via Ukraine as the proxy, and if it were not for NATO weapons and funds pouring into Ukraine, this would have been over ages ago.

The average person is too stupid to make this connection, and will see the rebuilding as an overall win, and not question the fact that you are fixing something that broke...net zero, effectively.

It's a shame for Ukrainians, on top of having their homeland attacked, family and countrymen killed, their country will be silently sold to the highest bidder, and most involved will grab what they can in this fire sale.
Of course that was part of the plan all along. I love how wikipedia labels "The Golden Billion" as a Russian conspiracy theory when it is so patently and obviously true. I'm American, and even I can see it. We live lives of excess and hubris, borne on the backs of the rest of the world that we have subjugated. 4% of the world using 25% of its resources. And our NATO friends and other allies make up the rest of the "Golden Billion".

Everyone else lives in poverty barely able to get by. And they are never really treated fairly as equals. There is no reason for Russia to be treated as it has been. They are and were a magnificent civilization that has brought so much to humanity and sacrificed so much for its benefit. The world would lose so much art, literature, music, mathematics, physics and other sciences, philosophy, and so much more without Russia. A world without Russia is not a world worth living in, as Putin has said.

And the same goes for Ukraine too. But our country has no respect for these people or their sacrifice. We use them to our own ends. America will cast Ukraine aside like a gutter whore when it no longer benefits us. Only Russia will stand with Ukraine and understand it for what it truly is, and not the fabricated version pushed by the ideological descendants of the Galician nationalists.

This war could have and should have been avoided. Ukraine is a state still struggling to define its national identity. And perhaps someday, in the very distant future, it will find that identity. But right now, the state is a failure, and the Americans have not, contrary to media coverage, been helping the circumstances.

Sure we'd wipe the floor with them but we're stretched thin. They are a country that we'll come to head with in the near future.
We also levelled the whole of Ukraine and smashed endless number of NATO assets with the doritos.

The US wont come head to head with Iran, that ship has sailed,, the US is far too weak now to fight Iran.

The US lost in Afghanistahn, you need to accept that.

The Talioban were like an endurance hunter, they chased the US down until they got tired, weak and mentally broke. Then they had to help them leave because ISIS were hammering them. Pathetic.

I'm being completely serious. I just don't think you guys understand the world very well. Your head is still in 1990 or something.

The US was at it's peak around 1990-2000 and is on a long and slow decline now.

Travel the world, go to ***** or Singapore and then go to the US. The US looks old and ugly. In 1990 it would be the top place in the world. Now it looks old and haggard.

Militarily the US expended it's power on Iraq and Afghanistan. It definitely isn't in a place to fight a country like Iran now. It's actually shocked me how many of you think fighting a country like Iran would be a walk over for the US, but Russia will lose to Ukraine.

At times I think I am in a world surrounded by idiots. But I guess most of you have never travelled the world and don't know much more than football and beer.

Biden said the following: "If the US had not left Afghanistan, we would not be able to help Ukraine." And it's just Afghanistan lol

If the US is sh*t then how sh*t is Iran?

But it's true, US infrastructure is old and bad. I even made a thread about it not long ago.

Yes Iran is chit. It has been under unprecedented world sanctions for years now (not to mention the govrnment is less than ideal).

However, the difference between Iran and the US, is that Iran is on the up swing whereas the US is on the down swing.

The future of the world will see China & India becoming the number 1 & 2 economies and Iran is friendly with both (Indonesia will become no.6). Once this happens sanctions will be broke and Iran will be able to develop unincumbered.

Iran is a very rich country with massive natural resources and high level human resources. It has massive potential, which is the reason it is the only country under a sanctions regime that it's under. The americans know what Iran is capable of and they want to stop it.

I believe over the next century we will see Iran emerge as one of the global economic powers as part of the changing face of the world economy.

I really hope Iran gets a good government, I know a guy who went to Iran and the people there were extremely friendly even though he was a westerner.

What do you think about the Ayatollah?

No Sandeep, they bent them over a long weekend and then stayed for 20 years and finally got tired of the whole thing. And they’ve lost what, a couple thousand soldiers in two decades?

Whos fault is that though?

Did anyone force iran to let an extremist islamic govt take power?

Your country would have been much better off if they had remained friends with the US instead of going full retard.

As far as china and india, youre looking at growth and then extrapolating… that isnt how it works. Japan in the 80s went through insane levels of economic growth and everyone thought it would overtake usa by the mid 90s, except it didnt.

Stagnation buddy. The cracks in chinas economic models are already becoming painfully obvious.

Iran had a secular leader but he was a nationalist that didn't want westerners taking over Iranian oil. The CIA and MI6 assassinated him and the fundamentalists took over in the following power vacuum.

What in most reality would happen ios that the US is surprised that they;re not fighting Iraq or Afghanistan and as soon as any number of losses mount up, the political fall out is too great and they withdraw.

The US is not a competent military, it's a make work programme. In recent history they have lost more than they ahve won.

They lost in Afghanistan.
Lost in Iraq.
ISIS made them run with their tails between their legs.

The American military is incompetent.
US has airbases in Kuwait, UAE, Saudi and Oman. They could come from over Turkey with refuelling over Iraq. Longer range stuff could come from anywhere. B'2s could fly from the US with re-fuelling. Tomahawks could be fired from outside the range of any anti-ship Iran has to my knowledge.

I can't see a scenario where the US tries to actually invade Iran, the kind of warfare that they struggled with in Iraq and Afghan simply wouldn't be in play. It would be neutralisation job.

Thankfully, Russia has run out of missiles and was only able to launch 120 missiles so far this morning. Lvov and Kyiv are almost completely without power.

The good news is that the Ukrainians shot most of the missiles down with their air defenses.

Oh wait...

inderdasting. BUT I'm not touting it as a "solution" its going to happen regardless. And plenty of rich people are going to pump plenty of money into Ukraine even if its just purely in their interest, it's still going to make Ukraine more rich/better in the long run. I fail to see how it won't. That is unless they actually lose this war and are overtaken by Russia, then they are fukked.

Oh wait...

Power will be back within 24 hours, tons of missiles intercepted. This was the massive missile strike that was foiled almost a week ago when Ukraine hit Engels Russian airbase. How embarrassing a 3rd world chit tier military hit a airbase 400 miles within Russian territory and stopped them from completing a mission for almost a week.

What does this have to do with the broken window fallacy? Do your best to explain using your words. We're definitely going to laugh at you but don't let that stop you from trying

BasedBagel, At least 2 of these brigades on this pic are well known to me and they are not in the Bachmut direction at that moment. One of them is in Avdeevka, the second has been on rotation/vacation since mid-November.
Just outta curiosity. Do you think propaganda is real?

And if so, do you think Russia is dumb enough to keep sending missiles to an area that has 100% interception rate?

Mayor of Lvov Andriy Sadovy reported that the entire city was left without electricity: "We are waiting for additional information from the energy experts. There may be interruptions with the water supply."

"301 settlements remain de-energized in Kiev, Lvov, Sumy, Ternopol and Khmelnytsky regions," the State Emergency Service

90% of Lvov is being reported without electricity right now at this moment...

Yea, I too have a difficult time believing he is really in Kiev… If I had to take a guess, I think he most likely fled to Poland/Germany/any other European state at the start of this invasion, or before it happened.

I personally know a couple different fighting age Ukrainian men who ended up fleeing Ukraine at the very start (they went into western EU), and I can't blame them for that either, they have wives and children. Why die for Zelensky

No shame in that, but stop with the LARPing on an internet forum
Sit in my car on Friday nights so my cat thinks I have a social life crew

Also remember when Russia started pulling AA equipment from sites in Russia and Vatniks laughed it off as normal and not them being under equipped? turns out the ones that were setup to protect Engels were moved to protect HQ inside Ukraine, thus allowing the drone strike, fukking LOL

Indeed.

Quite amazing how dogsh*t Russia actually is, don't think any military expert saw this coming. So much incompetence on all fronts, mind boggling.

They can't even protect their own airspace, imagine if NATO would attack...LMFAO, moscow would fall in a couple of hours
