What do you guys think about this? Sounds like total madness looking at how the first wave went.
No way this happens. Mass rebellion will happen if they start pulling men from places like St Petersburg and Moscow. Everyone let it fly because they were pulling the extremely poor black Russians. If it does happen Russia will be on the brink of total collapse and i would expect to see some power moves by the oligarchs.

There was a insider leak about it some time ago it seems probable. They fired three digit missiles this week without gaining ground, and even lost some.

I dunno. Historically there was more European engineering talent and then perhaps the subjects fell out of favour with the native population. The companies are established but they hire foreigners and ethnic nationals to work for them.

A lot of western Euro & American businesses have to hire asian people to do engineering.

Interesting Russia has the most engineering graduates & Iran is number 3. I don;t think this list includes China and India because by my estimate they will be number 1 & 2 respectively.

https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/...graduates.html

Stem graduates haave China, India, USA, Russia & Iran in the top 5.

It's not hugely surprising to me, I know the reverence Iranians place on engineering & I expect India and China may be simialar. I am surprised how many graduates are from the US, probably they are foreign students. Engineering is too tough for Americans.

Germany doesn't really register, hence all the imported talents in their industries.

Their schools are dogshiet though. just cus you have more graduates doesnt mean anything. engineering grad from buttfuk china is not equivalent to engineering grad from cambridge MIT stanford Oxford etc.

virtually all of the best stem and design schools in the world are in north america europe and japan.

they will outsource redundant work to these other places because its trivial enough that they can afford to compromise and save $$ on labour costs.

Not true.

The main value of top schools is that they intentionally select the best people, so the best people go onto to do the best in their careers.

The rating of engineering schools is primarily graded by the research they perform, which wont likely impact the graduates at all (they wont be involved in it, unless they do a PHD).

The most improtant value of engineering graduates, is when they are high calibre individuals, who do a decent rigorous course and then go into a well structured grad scheme.

Honestly it is just arrogance to assume that Western engineering grads are better, I have met a lot of guys from China and India who take their studies and careers far more seriously than Brits I know. Most of the highest calibre grads out of the UK wanted to move into finance or mgmt consultancy (mo money).

I know in China they are taking it the extra mile and going much further than anything we do in the West. They have special programmes where they identify young geniuses (at like 12 yrs old), they then asign them academic and military supervisors who then coach them in specific military technologies. That;s all they do froma young age. They go to top unis, while being itnegrated into the military engineering apparatus.
There is no way the West can compete with that.

top schools top companies and most innovations are all in the west boyo. not up for debate.

nothing comes out of asia (japan/south korea aside), and when it does its a chinese company copying some american companies products. china has a longgggg way to go before they can compete with the west in terms of tech innovation.

I remember having this conversation with some lecturers of mine in the first year of uni and we all agreed that the notion that the Chinese can only copy is arrogance and that they will innovate and develop their own technologies.

Which now we are seeing.

Remember the Poland situation and you took Zelensky word as literal fact? Because “why would Zelensky blame Russia, he must have evidence he is going to present”

Is what Reznikov said true? We'll find out in a week as Reznikov said...but maybe wait before you start acting like what he said is absolute "facts"...just a helpful tip, king retard

Okay well then you tell me bro, which chinese schools are better than mit/cambridge and which chinese companies have produced more innovative tech than western companies?

We can talk about future whatifs and what they “might” he capable of producing in the future but what good is speculation? Talk to me about now.

All their military tech is reverse engineered from stuff they get via russia or spied from the US. Their cars are cheap copies of german cars or cheap copies of american ev’s. same goes for their computing. They dont have any microchip tech, thats why they want taiwan… china saving glory is its vast workforce but manufacturing can only take an economy so far.

Say what you will about russia but at least they produce their own tech and dont spy schematics from the US lol… russia actually has some top quality military tech, they just dont have enough produced.

If it actually happens which is unlikely especially if you believe it, it wont be any worse than it has been for ukrainians for the last 8 months

Tsinghua University is roughly on par with MIT now fyi. And also, the best students at MIT and Cambridge are often of Chinese descent. Good job.

Oh really? Is that why China has hypersonic tech we don't have? Is that why they have better networks? Keep living in your white supremacy pipe dream dude. America is formidable today, in part, because of all the Chinese engineers we brain drained. Go look at the top professors in STEM. Tons are Chinese. You're so arrogant.

There are dead inside people in russia, they will be told to run through a minefield, they will run.

Not a lot of intelligent and thinking people.

Yeah it's called money.

I'm not Chinese.

I just don't get where the arrogance comes from.

Look at the names on this list. Let's play a game called spot the white kids.

Money is what they pay… a lot of… so they can study at a good school thats not in china. Lmao.

They go back when they finish usually.

No one said chinese people werent smart or that they didnt do well in western schools. Stop getting irate and changing the subject.

Chinese schools are shiet compared to top western schools and so are their innovations. They constantly resort to stealing american companies ip cus they cant develop shiet themselves.

Japan on the other hand has solid engineering schools and does innovate. Same with south korea to a lesser extent.

Let reality in little buddy. It only hurts for a bit.

Are you retarded? No one pays to go to grad school here. They are funded.

You're parroting memes about China from 40 years ago. They have good schools now.

Japan and SK innovate too. China's best schools have actually passed theirs now. You just aren't aware of all of China's innovation because the west doesn't use Chinese products. Srs.

“Postgraduate Courses:
All the fees depend on the courses that you choose. In general a Ph. D. or master's courses will cost less than the MBA, JD, or MD courses. International students usually pay $20,000-$35,000 for public colleges and $35,000-$50.000 for private colleges per year.“

Nobody pays that. That's wrong. Almost every PhD is funded with an assistantship...They are looking at book value of tuition. It's not that much in practice. (Unless it's an MBA, MD, or JD program).

Have you ever been to college bro?
