I'm going to California in January, What are the best chain restaurants to eat?

I've only ever ate

-Chili's (GOAT)
-Outback Steakhouse
-Cheesecake Factory
- Olive Garden

On a couple nights there I want to try some popular chain restaurants. I'm thinking:

-Applebees
-Texas Roadhouse

Any recommendations?

Where are you going in California? Every city has its own "go-to" restaurants. Don't eat at some chitty chain restaurant you can eat anywhere. Go to a local eatery.


FYI all those places you listed get their food from a supply chain called Sysco. Youthinkyou're eating different food when you eat at Olive Garden one day and Outback Steakhose the next, but its all the same food. You just think it tastes different because its being served to you under a different roof.

- IN N OUT burger (look up underground menu) (4x4 grilled onions, pickles, fries, root-beer float)
- Cheese Steak shop (king of philly)
- Any Taqueria with grilled chicken (the taquerias here are FIRE)
- Kinders (balltip or blazin baltip if ya like a lil spiciness)

^ Those are probably the best fast food places

You also have five guys and chik filet but they don't meet the gold standard imo, still good tho
