How do special forces dudes making $30/hr feel about private contractors doing the same work for $300/hr?

I work with a chit ton of ex military. Most of them work full time yet they’re claiming 100% disability. They’re getting checks for like $4100 every month. I know a dude who is getting over $1000 a month because he said he had to take a shower with another man and it traumatized him.

Just lmao


I only know one guy who refuses to do that. Other people are like fuk it, I earned it. “Earned it” in for 1 year never even deployed. Getting over 4K every month for the rest of their life.

I work with a guy doing this.

But to answer the question, you literally could be a tradie in the military. But if you have the skills, going the military route is pretty dumb unless you can get officer pay and rank up I guess.

An E4 plumber would make at least double the wage in the private sector and could start their own business fairly easily.

pretty much but you have to figure that the vast majority dont even get a gun. I was in for 20 years and only shot a gun a few times, was never issued one. I was in the navy though so didnt need one for my job.

Not all the military walks around shooting at people. Most of the time I wished I was getting tradie pay and tradie hours. Military doesnt pay overtime so you are there until they say you can go home, then be back in a few hours to do it again.
