Just listened to MXPX again-experienced wave of feels (early 2000s skate brahs GTFIH)

Haven't listened to this band in so many years.

Summer time, sun shining, pop/skate punk playing, skating around town, no cares in the world.

Simpler times, boyos.
*Look at reflection in car window and flex every time crew*
*Use half the roll to wipe after a poo crew*
*Fart in the gym and blame rotten smell on faulty ventilation crew*
*Fart at home and blame it on the dog crew*
*Watch neutron-star density poop mock me as water flushes around it and it stays put crew*
*Drive 2 minutes in the summer and back of shirt gets completely wet crew*
*Coffee black as midnight on a moonless night crew*
*Fat shame my cat on a daily basis crew*

I used to skate and listen to this stuff also. Sum 41, Blindside, CKY etc. Culture has disappeared though. I even remember when THPS was arguably the biggest video game and everyone had that for consoles.

Do skating games even get made anymore? 3 xtreme was another awesome one. Matt Hoffmans BMX, Cool Boarders snowboarding etc

skateboarding culture is so lame and corporate now. Everyone is sponsored by nike or adidas and it's even in the olympics now.

This was probably my favorite of theirs. My friends and I would change the beginning line from masquerading to masturbating.

Can't you listen to music without thinking about politics? I miss those days.

Dogwood is a christian punk band as well. Fuk me did I listen to a ton of Dogwood as a teen while skateboarding. Not religious at all but great punk rock music. Lots of energy.
