Coming? It’s already here brah

One hour of my labor buys me about half as much chit as it did two years ago.

You can prepare for a layoff by saving money, but when your savings have been made worthless you can’t prepare for that

Property is now mostly owned by MOGGERS and they can weather a recession easily. There is a whole ocean of private capital forming, getting ready to buy up massive amounts of residential housing in the next few years (not a conspiracy). Their plan is to buy up as much as possible, collude to keep prices as high as possible, and make sure no zoomer can ever afford to own property. Think about the potential profits over the next 50+ years if they succeed.

MOGGERS have no problem letting their properties sit empty while millions of americans are newly homeless lol. They'll just wait it out.

There's so much pent up demand, people who want to buy but have been waiting, that'll all get swallowed up like nothing. You'll see a SMALL dip and then it will level off, most likely. There's such a shortage of residential housing in almost every major city, there would have to be a million+ people out in the streets before a 20% housing dip could happen.

Look at california right now. Everyone broke as fukk, people fleeing in record numbers, crime everywhere, hundreds of thousands of drugged out zombies walking the streets, broken government -800 SQ FT CRACK SHACK 40 MILES FROM LA, BIDDING STARTS AT $1.2M.

I worked through the 2000 recession, the 2008 Great Recession, and the 1997 and 2015 commodity price collapses.

There is no secret, just use common sense. Most important is do what you can keeping a steady income, as many streams as you can manage.

After that keep your monthly nut low and really think about how you spend what’s left.

maybe, the delay in media
is way way far than reality
media just circle and magnify things

if the recssions hits, it wont have any real warnings
just like the s&p slipped on the rona lockdowns
no warnings,just a nice slip

Just wishful thinking from a pleb who admits to making AUD$130k

Spoiler!
anyone dumb enough to think that’s an achievement is probably in fact making less than AUD$100k
