Even 10/10s shouldn't be leaning too heavily on their appearance though and should be actively trying to not take advantage of it or live life on "easy mode", lest they end up old and haggard and with nothing else going for them after the looks have faded

Hot women definitely have life on easy mode. Even just financially it's so easy to round up simps and have your life paid for.

Attractive men definitely get their advantages, but nowhere close to what women get.

The thing is, people who aren't attractive conventionally can add to their appearance/looks relatively easily, they often just choose not to. Keep yourself in shape, groom, dress well, work on being charismatic or interesting. It takes a 5 to a 7.
