How is McDonalds still in business?

Was going to grab some tonight because I wanted something quick and haven’t been there in ages.

A McDouble was $5.19 like wtf? It used to be $1 then $2. 6 McNuggets was like $6.59 just lmao!! I actually couldn’t believe it. You used to be able to go to McDonalds and get a few things off the dollar menu for like $7. I picked out a few things like a McDouble, Nuggets, Fries, McChicken and the total was like $15.

I would much rather go literally anywhere else. You used to go there because it was significantly cheaper and now it’s the more expensive option. Who still goes there??????

At In N Out you can get a combo meal for like $6 still.

I will get a double quarter because it's the only good thing on the menu.

The cheaper food is like some kind of food toy kids would play with.

Burger King has truly ridiculous cheap menu items that make McDonald's look four star.

McChicken used to be a good deal for a buck, they cut the chicken in half and doubled the breading, now it's like a McBreading and disgusting.

families with kids keep the place in business. if you go there, use their app it gets you a 20% off coupon daily or other free stuff.

mcnugget and fries basket for 8 bucks is the ****.

just ate mcdonalds and got 2 double cheese burgers and 1 spicy mcchicken for $4.95. you have to use the app though for discounts

I always lol @ people who use financial struggles as the reason why they eat McDonald's. That garbage is not cheap. Junk food in general is not cheap.

It's so much cheaper to eat clean.

i usually eat mcdonalds to get calories in. i eat probably once a day and always fall below maintenance. with mcdonalds it's so easy get calories in when every sandwich is 500 calories.

McDoubles are 2 for $3.99 where I'm at. That's about as cheap as you'll find any burger now.

Yeah the dollar menu is long gone, i think the cheapest things here are 3 something. Like $3.29 for a mcdouble. But lately its been stale dry-crispy buns. Luckily i can’t stand the smell of the place , they all smell like cow farts, so i very rarely go.

How did their coffee become such a thing. Everytime I get one the coffee is barely hot. Like they don’t even boil the water. My instant coffee at home with Nescafé is better than their pos coffee.

And that's with the fact that everything has gone up 1.5 times in recent years.


Everything tastes so much nicer than in the U.S., all McDonald's restaurants look ten times better inside than in the U.S.

I used to eat at McDonalds in Germany etc quite often. Always interesting getting their take on a “local” dish. Have to say their currywürst wasn’t too bad.

Every country in Europe adds some kind of national ingredient to their burgers or something else. For example in Europe in almost all countries you can get a different kind of fries instead of French fries when you buy any of the menus at McDonald's.
