also @ Hutrapper: at first they converted all prices by the conversion rate so we got some weird numbers but over time chit started to get rounded and streamlined so nowadays the issue is no more, but again it takes TIME

I use a mix. Height in feet, body weight in pounds, distance in miles, most everything else in metric.

One thing I could never understand is using cups as a food measurement. Makes no sense, it can vary wildly. Just weigh it (in grams)

Yeah they rounded up, causing prices to go up. Currently happening in Croatia as the switch to the Euro from the Kuna.

yeah I heard about it, you brahs had the most aesthetic coins before, still have a few with the bear lying around

with the shift to Euro over here they converted everything pretty fairly which resulted in some weird pricing imo

the rounding (and increase of course) only came after

a couple of years ago they ditched the 1 and 2 cent pieces which also led to another small increase here and there
