ITT: Rate this tiny fraction of my record collection (music brahs GTFIH)

Got a nice large piece of furniture to house all my vinyl. For a long time, I've been wanting to organize them all in one concrete place alphabetically and chronologically. It's a large task. I had them spread out all over the place and snapped this quick photo of a small sliver of my collection.

Anyone here collect vinyl? Been accumulating them since the early 90s. Even as a kid I loved getting them at thrift shops, flea markets, and garage sales and playing them on our old vinyl player from the 80s. I still have the speakers from that old system (srs).

My uncle gave me that Motorhead record when I was pretty young. That was one of the catalysts to my deep love of heavy metal. The majority of my vinyl collection is more old classic rock and progressive rock and not so much metal bands. I have an even larger CD collection for those.

Lemmy was a cool dude. Met him a handful of times on tour and he'd always take his time to have a quick chat or sign whatever people wanted. Given that he'd been doing it for 4 decades and was still making time for fans while being old, having cancer, and touring relentlessly says a lot about his character.
