Flew a domestic flight today. Co pilot was green as grass, he didn't even check the spark plugs before take off. I had to pull in on the taxiway and call maintenance to come and do it, luckily the Boeing 747 is very fuel efficient so we didn't waste too much gas. When we touched down me and the boys stripped the co pilot to his bare ass and strapped him to a wooden board and threw him on the luggage carrousel for all the passengers to see. Just tradition when noobs make mistakes like that.
It's a great gig OP and easy to get into, no harder than driving a car tbh

Can confirm sick of rookies like that. Just the other day we were flying to Amsterdam with a Boombastic Challenger 6000. While on air the copilot made many mistakes so I pulled over and called my boss to send a better pilot. Refused to fly a single more mile with him.

Luckily our boss values flight safety so he sent a better pilot. We were at 35000 feet so the new pilot had to bring a ladder to come on board. I put the rookie pilot in my aircrafts jail then we completed the flight safe and sound

I always felt the Challenger 6000 was a bit too sketchy on touchdown tbh, that might be down to the tyres they come with from the factory though. A lot of the mechanics in my area swap them out for Michelin Pilot Sports which improve things a bit but it still tends to want to drift even when taxiing. At the work xmas do we all took turns seeing who could do the best Scandinavian flick. Arnold won in the end but he's mental, pretty sure he sniffs white before every flight because he's always out partying even the night before one of those gruelling 12 hour international hauls.

You're more humane than I. I usually open the L1 door and toss green first officers into the fan blades of my #2 engine (less adverse yaw than throwing into the #1 engine). No need for a first officer anyway.
