Good thread, i've always wondered this. Nature plays a big role, but with nurturing you can forcefully suppress peoples behaviour.
Before colonization what where the natives people behaviour like.
Saddam during his time ran a tight ship.
Then again look at Germany after 2 world wars they were able to successfully rebuild their cities and societies just like Japan. Italy, specifically Palermo Italy still have buildings they haven't been able to repair.
African countries that had first world infrastructure left by their old colonialists couldn't even maintain them. Singapore and ***** on the other hand improved and surpassed their former colonies in some respects.

Nurture has a BIG impact on people from a mental health perspective. As early as infancy, you can experience things that will literally alter your ability to do things like form bonds and show affection if you are treated in the wrong way. However, this is more in the mental health field. Personality is different.
However, from what I've learned about personality development, children form personalities based on mimicking emotions and also trying to be different from emotions they perceive as causing them problems. This is why you can have two kids in the same household raised by the same people with opposing personalities.
In my opinion it's about 20% nature, 80% nurture.

Nigerian blacks for example are one of the most successful demographics in US. I’ve met Nigerian parents who are very religions. Basically holds traditional values and they want their kids to live a good wholesome life, be doctors or something.
The people who claim to be Christians aren’t really Christian’s. It’s as Jordan Peterson says, you don’t say what you are, you ACT what you are.
As I explained in my post, religious foundations is not about following a book or claiming to be of that religion. It is all around you. The religious ideals should be propagated to every corner of society, the stories that they tell.
When you listen to a Cardi B song, does USA sound like it’s propagating Christian ideals? It is Christian in name only.
Thus proving my point further.

I guess 100% nurture is more accurate
Cause for the environment to have influence at all there has to be some flexibility. If it was 100% determined then there'd be no flexibility at all
If this then that
But if you throw in environment and epigenetic changes
If cold then black hair
If hot then brown hair
Now you've possibly got black at cold
Brown at hot
And mix of black/ brown if a mix of hot/cold
If you allowed for influences at like 80 degrees, 70 degrees, 60 degrees
You start to throw in so many choices it all seems random
