One day I’m going to visit New Haven and try an apizz pie. Can’t fkin wait. There’s just never been any reason for me to head that way yet. But I do hear from even the biggest NY snobs that the GOAT pizza is in CT.
It’s hard to call it goat because NY pizza is all I know but one of the top 5 places I had pizza was in CT and not really shocked if someone says CT is their favorite. I think New Jersey is superior to CT.

IMO the best places are Modern Apizza and Zuppardi's Apizza. If you go to Pepe's, go to the New Haven location (they have multiple now and they just aren't like the original).

Never had Sally's but it's supposed to be the best.

Pizza in OP looks legit.

My favorite style is Neapolitan Pizza. I just always tell them well done so it’s not slightly soft in the center like they normally cook it.

The single best pizza I ever had was the New Yorker at Tony’s Pizza in San Francisco out of his coal oven.

Good looking pie but congrats on living in an absolute dump with zero prospects of home ownership or having a nice yard.

Enjoy the piss and garbage everywhere m8. Everyone's sick of NYs chit. The media from the 90s can't save you.

love almost any pizza crew

it's not a competition. I am at chicagobrah. There's good pizza there. Any way you want it. East coast pizza is very good.

West coast hasn't figured it out yet.

L&B's is good stuff, but always felt it was kind of overrated. One of those places that everybody says its the best because its supposed to be. Kind of like Peter Lugers. So many good places around in Bklyn. Used to be a bakery on Bath ave by bay 14th back in the 70's that made killer Sicilian pie.

Yeah definitely not at the level it’s hyped up to but still top tier pizza.

But I’ve been a Lugerbrah for a long time and even though ten years ago, I’d say they were still the kings - they’ve fallen off completely. I used to do all of my business lunches/gatherings there - we stopped going cold. Wolfgang is WAY better than Luger now.
