Perfectly fine in my opinion. It's ok to kill an innocent baby, but we need to save the life of a man who just murdered some innocent children or family. Don't see the problem here.

there’s no logical way to be anti ALL abortions. If your 13 year old daughter got raped by a big horrible sweaty man with many mental illnesses and physical health issues, then you find out she is 2 weeks pregnant, and you didn’t get an abortion you literally need to die lmao.

I can’t get behind being 100% anti-abortion, although I can understand the prospect of not wanting to kill what is essentially an innocent newborn regardless of the context. But forcing a girl/woman to carry their rapists baby to term seems beyond the pale, even if the alternative is still baby murder.

#1) If you are for Capital Punishment and against Pro Choice, you allow the government to decide who lives and dies.

#2) If you are against Capital Punishment and for Pro Choice, you allow the people to retain this power more than the government.

Comparing/contrasting Capital Punishment stances with Pro Choice stances is not a matter of morality/hypocrisy. Depending upon *typical* Republican vs *typical* Democratic party platforms, you will get either, respectively, #1 for Republicans or #2 for Democrats. Those represent differing dualistic beliefs on power structures with respect to U.S. governmental prerogatives on governing life itself.

This is something I figured out all on my own by the time I was 20. And that was despite my being at an age that is normally a very idealistic one (and I was pretty idealistic). Yet, I still figured this out. This is not rocket science.

Capital Punishment puts the blood on EVERYBODY'S hands. If you kill someone who is later determined to be wrongly convicted and executed, not only do you have blood on your hands, you put blood on my hands because I somehow couldn't convince enough people not to let the government have this authority.

Being pro choice is more complicated. But since our world is as messed up as it is and poor and working and lower-middle-class women don't have the support they need, this is an option that should be available to them at least in the case of health emergencies and rape. Bottom line: The only thing worse than legal abortion is illegal abortion, which is why we have to have legal abortion.

Wut? All criminal laws are based on outliers. Criminal behavior is by definition an outlier to what is acceptable in society. We don't make laws encouraging good behavior. We make laws prohibiting bad behavior. Allowing abortion in the case of incest or rape acknowledges that the outlier behaviors of rape and incest are worse than the outlier behavior of having an abortion. You may disagree with the premise and feel abortion is worse, but they are all outliers.

It does. I’m saying you can’t be anti ALL abortions. It’s ridiculous to say that you could. There’s also a gigantic difference between an abortion at 1 month than there is at 6 months. The first one is possible, yet highly discouraged and should be avoided at all costs for many reasons, the second one is not. If these anti abortionists keep going, soon it’ll be illegal to Jack off onto a towel, because that sperm was the beginnings of a baby.it’s also impossible to forget about some people just because it’s easier to establish a law for everyone, totally unrealistic and retarded thinking.

I'm actually very conservative and pro abortion. Not for myself or my own values.

I just look at it from the perspective that the types of people pursuing abortions, we're better off as a society with them breeding less often.

Careful friend, that’s smart and logical thinking and it doesn’t go down well in a highly emotional world. However there is a certain point (to be very carefully determined) where the foetus is too developed to be able to abort it without actually killing a child. Somewhere between 1 and 6 months. I still think it needs to be a case by case basis though, there isn’t enough support in the USA for single mothers as it is, look at the statistics, it’s just going to result in million more future criminals or mentally ill people born every year.
