97% of Americans have hazardous "Forever chemicals" in your blood already. Too late.

These hazardous chemicals never break down. They are known as PFAS. They are in everything you buy because the US has a failed protection system. The European Union has banned thousands of these chemicals, but in the USA we have only banned a few.

A study has shown that it's too late. These chemicals are in 97% of Americans already, and they cause cancer, among many other health issues.

Why is this?

Because the European Union and USA have different policies.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) here in the US, their policy is that the government has to spend resources and manpower to prove something is unsafe to ban it.

Meanwhile, in the European Union, everything is banned until it's proven safe to reach market.

We've all been sold down the river. And it's only getting worse through bioaccumulation, which means the more concentrations we get as we get older, the worse it gets - leading to cancer and other things.

These PFAS are in everything. Clothing, household products, hygiene products for men and women, cookware, packaging, carpet, electronics, and many other products in your home

They aren't safe, but, as with everything, it's all about dosage. As long as dosages are sufficiently low, you be aiight. Remember that life expectancy has increased in general, not decreased. You are exposed to tons of carcinogens daily. Some of the most carcinogenic sources are natural.

Kind of wonder how accurate the EU vs US comparison is

EU is still importing all their raw packaging materials from China

You think China is going to make separate products for the EU and the USA just because the EU banned some chemical on paper?

How often is the EU testing for all 1000+ chemicals that they banned?

most of this crap is only ever used the last 100 years and you cant even define it because theres thousands of the chemicals with unknown effects.....

I think the life expectancy peaked and it will continue the trend of going back down again.

1) some of these chemicals are toxic in ANY amount or dosage

2) and to your point, how do you control the dosage, if it's in everything? Some people will receive a higher dose depending on how much products they encounter, for example women with makeup.

PFAS never break down in the environment. They can build up in our bodies and slowly leave the body over time, mostly through urine. But this depends on the damage it does in the meantime, and if you continue to accumulate more.

No an epidemiologist, but my understanding is direct evidence of carcinogenicity is suspect at best. Much is being drawn from extrapolations from animal studies where trans-species assumptions regarding elimination effects and organ responses are highly conservative and potentially invalid. That is, in part, leading to attention to these chemicals at absurdly low levels, including the EPA who is issuing human health warnings at levels that cannot be reliably measured in environmental samples based on current technologies. Meanwhile, people continue to have terrible diets and ingest things like ******** at appalling rates - perhaps there are other priorities to address. Just my own take. Also worth noting these chemicals do have significant benefits to our daily lives, including providing significant stain resistance and lubrication, which can be particularly useful if a HTC lady comes over after an aggressive chipotle lunch and proceeds to fart out a colossal six foot long chcolate anaconda that without pretreatment with said chemicals would likely clog your toilet so badly you would be plungering for hours on end with your greenpeace tshirt pulled up over your nose

My point is the dosage is low in the products. Yes, it can accumulate, but again, it's all about concentrations. There's not enough in the shampoo to harm you realistically, but like some really small percent of people can and will develop cancer as a result. It's important to quantify risk for chit like this. It's sort of like how people freak out about a single x ray, but then might go tan for an hr. Like, you have to look at expected amounts of damage.

like yeah you give the chemicals to a person from 100 years ago to them one time, there will be no effect. but what are the constant effects we have no idea. everyone who gets cancer basically can never prove where it was from, even if they worked in industrial environments with known carcinogens they always get cucked and denied claims saying they cant prove they got cancer from there.

All you can do is look at the trends like crazy drops in male testosterone things like that. its a mess because everything is unknown, unproven and so then they will continue it and every now and then they will ban something random like BPA ok that is one small thing you banned, that is a drop in the bucket.
Want to know how bad we've been sold down the river in the US?

Asbestos is still legal in the USA, no complete ban, and many products can still legally contain up to 1% of asbestos without a problem

They know because they haven't seen huge increases in cancer.

I will say the generational testosterone drop is probably due to some bs chemicals we use. (I can't prove it, and there isn't enough evidence, but the T drop is very real, and at least one major variable that changed was plastic usage. It's something people are trying to figure out, but the answers are inconclusive at best.)

Lower T levels --> Less aggressive men --> More easily ruled people --> Congress can get away with more corruption

A big reason why our endocrine systems are getting wrecked. Plus autoimmune and other inflammatory diseases are through the roof. Cancer rates across the board aren’t getting any better(some getting worse). Hormone levels are completely fukked compared to just a few decades ago. Heart problems and strokes are as bad or worse than ever. A lot of that is attributed to diet, but the chemicals are absolutely fukking people up and there is no denying it. Our physical, mental, and spiritual health as a nation is circling the drain and will continue to get worse until drastic changes are made.

Yeah ive been doing what I can to get away from PFAS and microplastics. I try and use my cast iron skillet when possible. And drink from glass or metal. I use soap that is strictly oils and nothing else. Toothpaste that is all natural ingredients. No mouthwash. And plant based soaps ... but some of those (for laundry and washing dishes) have an ingrediant list a mile long too so need to find alt.

Removing plastics from the kitchen and checking the ingredients of everything in your bathroom will go a long way. And other than that buy the most quality stuff you can find in the store. The more processed a good is the more bullsh!t it is likely to have in it. See below for a good link to check ingredient lists against. Provides easily searchable database with links to studies for anything you come across.

Exact same question I had.

Does it matter what chemicals we ban, if we aren't producing the products anyways?

True. It was discovered that most of the animals being bred and used for these studies had been bred in such a way that they have a much higher incidence of cancer. But the old studies were not invalidated and repeated with new specimens. Serious.

Oh and this pertains to the mrna injections also. PEG is one of those chemicals that fell into "generally recognized as safe" or some such and is in a lot of products including being injected via the mrna vaccinations.

PEG may be the ingredient in the shots leading to increased clotting and amyloidosis. It is a chemical that may not be too bad when ingested and passed through the alimentary canal or when used in contact with the skin.

Attaching it to a particle that is nano scale and can travel throughout the entire human body and then injecting it? Been a long time, but I previously posted an old study that questioned the wisdom and safety of using nano scale particles in humans.

That’s a pretty bad way to look at it. Have you ever seen older people dealing with health issues compared to the old people still crushing it(relatively speaking) in the gym?? I’d much rather be the one who is healthy than some decrepidcel limping through life.

Looks like everyone on misc is a mud blood afterall

On a srs note, our life expectancies are pretty similar with EU being slightly higher:

This is likely due in large part to our obesity rate being 20 percent higher, which is unsurprising seeing as there’s a thousand fast food restaurants in every fukking corner of the country
