not always true. 2 days yes. 2 hours, no. There's tons of things that can be going on for an hour or two that she seems the message and says ill respond later.

The gym guy who blocks and unblocks me every Jan. 1 and July 1 found another app to contact me. It's so weird that he's 31 now. He was 20 when I met him.

There's another young guy from my gym whom I'm not interested in as he's not my type and I have blocked him on phone, IG, ********, Snap and THEN he found me on Nextdoor! I blocked him there, then he made a new Snap account so I said, I keep blocking you because I'm not looking for a hookup, I want a life partner so could you please move on and find someone else? He said he was horny and wanted to send me a video of him masturbating. What a creep. I don't understand this creepy, stalkerish behavior with someone you haven't even had sex with.

I agree with you.

Ive made a similar, general post a couple times and my point was if she consistently taking hours to respond she's not very interested. There's certainly exceptions such as the gym, certain jobs, hobbies etc etc.

He’s back! Hope all is well dude srs.

Regarding your point, I agree. I’m not sure what caused me to go down this road with overthinking but I need to really fight this off and develop a better habit. It hasn’t benefited me the last couple years at all. I know once I start liking someone my mind will revert back to this habit, but like you said i need to consciously fight it off.

Might have an anxious attachment

I grew up in a kinda chitty household and developed an anxious attachment style from it, I tame it but sometimes it gets the best of me

I was thinking about going to therapy for it

What's up with people and labels? Especially females.

They keep putting a label to themselves over something and putting their entire identity towards it.

It's very much like victim blaming.

instead of taking some personal responsibility and recognizing and fixing they say, "Oh I'm Nuerodivergent or I'm this way because I'm INTJ - ABCDEFG "

"I'm this way because..."

re-signed up for hinge after a couple of years, wow it really went downhill. mostly showing me whales now, i guess they must think i'm ugly or a harpoon salesman.

"back in the day" i matched with plenty of cardio bunny types, went on a few dates, overall good experience. arguably i looked worse and my pictures weren't as good. back then there were no "pay to upgrade" type features, though.

So many men on Bumble over 40 have "CEO" in their profile. I wonder if it's a CEO of one person and they are a "consultant" on Biden's Bucks.

For one I did search the company he listed and I saw it's some sort of a manufacturing company. But who knows with these characters. I'll swipe 3 times and stop as dating apps just are tiresome.

Yeah, I formed an LLC for like $200 that doesn't even do any business currently but could technically call myself the CEO of my own logistics business.

LOL I know.

My friend is 75 and just became single so she's looking at online dating and even at her age the men say they are CEOs, like to "hike", "kayak", etc. I swear everyone on these dating apps try to make it sound like they are Mr Exciting when they probably just sit and watch TV all weekend.

That's major cringe. I just feel like the pics are 10-15 years old, the titles are off, and no one is honest on these dating apps. You really need to find a life partner before the age of 40. After that most are so broken and cringe.

There is a guy I dealt with recently who has a two-person law firm with his wife. He does litigation and she does something totally unrelated. On their website, he lists himself as "Managing Partner of the Litigation Group" at the firm. He is the only person in the "group." Cringe.

I think majority of people overthink sometimes. I do it too. I guess we just need to learn to relax and let it go. Is there a place that you can go to relax?

Had a FaceTime setup with a hinge girl tonight. She seemed pretty into it yesterday when scheduling but she didn’t answer my call or text me yet. Half hour ago.

I didn’t text to ask her what happened, figured the missed call was enough. Just going to move on unless she reaches out with a reason.

Yea I’m definitely going to get better at this and keep working on it. My mind has been a bit messed up by my past and it’s been hard knowing how to relax again back in the dating world (or to be natural in it, I feel like I used to overthink less and be more positive), but I’ve had plenty of time to adjust and maybe I need to take more action. I think I’m getting better. I actually do relax but im fairly introverted, don’t love going out a lot but I do make the effort to when I can. If anything I’m too secluded from girls because I like spending time alone. But I know ultimately I’d be happier finding someone.

Happy new year btw!

This is the way.

I have this cute girl 9 years younger than me who I met at the bar months ago and came over and asked for my number. Texted for a few days before she went silent. Saw her again the other day at the same place, she came over to talk (had already been there a while and was way ahead of me drink-wise), and then we texted a few more times before she went dark again. Just LMAO if you think I’m going to keep trying to get a response.

In both our cases, their loss.

Unless a girl is obsessed with me, these days I can't even be bothererd

Too many mind games

The one I have been seeing for a little while don't do none of that

Also in my experience, if you have to sincerely question whether or not this girl likes you, she probably doesn't

I reflected back on my past experiences with women, and no girl who actually liked me (at the time) played games and chit

You have to photoshop your pics. Take a good picture of a guy that has your body type and just photoshop your head on it. You create the lighning and shadows and it looks good.

I matched with a 52 year old who keeps messaging me but he lives in a house with roommates? I know my area is really expensive but I wonder if that's a red flag. I agreed to meet him for a drink, though.

He says he's "puny" and doesn't go to the gym.
