I agree this place isn't good for my mental health. I'm on some eating disorder forums but all people talk about on there are food and weight so they get boring. I like the discussions about relationships or real world topics such as veganism. I rarely was on here the month after my aunt passed away as I was already too depressed to deal with the B.S. on here like threads about me.

That's another thing about me: I shall add it to the list as these all help my self esteem:

- Work at a large tech firm even with severe depression and anxiety
- Care for my aging family, including spending every Sat. afternoon taking care of my Dad's bills or taking my aunt out shopping
- Volunteer at a an animal shelter
- Got into bodybuilding and trained with a IFBB pro
- Caring friend
- Talked people from forums out of suicide until 3am
- Give money to animal charities
- Vegetarian since 1990 due to the animals
- Will sit on a road with a stray animal until animal control or its owner is found
- Recently assisted my neighbor and her family when she had a stroke by staying her until the police and paramedics showed up
