Anyone use an inversion table?

Thinking about getting one for chronic lower back pain

I heard there not all their cracked up to be . I tried one and found it caused too much pressure in my head . Overweight was obviously a contributing factor .

All I’m saying is try one before you buy, I’m glad I did.

I should add that one day I’m going to build one . My theory is to have padded posts that go under your arms , and you control a Linear actuator to stretch yourself as far as you feel comfortable.
Plus have another control to lower yourself with another actuator, but only go upside down as you’re comfortable with , as the stretching will help contribute,so maybe you’ll only have to go 15 degrees

I found the one at the store didn’t decompress much unless you we’re practically upside down

There's one on Marketplace for $50, I'm not worried about the cost, but where to put it is more of an issue.

I intend to be fully upside down. I saw someone upside down slowly twisting and thought that might pop my chit back in place.

I didn’t have it set right at Flamin Fitness , and got stuck upside down . Be careful of that if you’re alone .
I was looking at the expensive one , they’re like 800-900 bucks . Can’t remember the name but they used to advertise a lot

No one . It’s located upstairs , and they didn’t see me on the surveillance camera . Luckily I slipped out of the straps that hold your feet

Yes

There are tricks to using one too, you need to slowly build up to being completely inverted generally or otherwise you might get some pain, but your body adapts

Secondly, you take deep breaths in and out while inverted which helps re-align the spine

Thirdly, you also need to decompress hanging from a pullup bar for a long time (breathing again deeply)

And lastly, you also need a slant board to stretch the entire posterior chains (breathing again)

Those 3 combined actually made me grow almost an inch in height and people were noticing / making comments

My back pain significantly improved after about 3 months of doing this combo + back extensions from front and side, adding weight as I progress

Not a table, but I have gravity boots. I personally like them and use them not just for upside down hangs but also inverted crunches.

Whether or not it would be helpful would probably depend on what’s causing your pain.
