I’m in Bangkok right now, it’s actually a pretty great city.

Second time coming here, didn’t like it the first time very much. Will be here like 7-8 days this time around before heading to the islands, so actually getting a more in-depth look at the place. I’m here just as a “vacation from my vacation”, so working out and getting daily massages. Trying to take a couple days off from heavy drinking.

Awesome food, crazy chit happening everywhere, lots of HBBs, and easy to get laid. Thai girls are really fun and sexy if you find the right ones. Partying here isn’t as fun as other places as it kinda seems fake and forced at times, but that’s all of Asia I guess.

Still though, I recommend Incel miscer types to give this place a try. It’s definitely a beginner travel destination, but still has a lot going for it.

Many Thai women are ugly, and I’m not that much into Asians in general. But there are some super hot ones. Thai girls are way more fun than Koreans.

Went there for one weekend. Saw plenty of creepy oldcels talking girl girls 30 years younger, could sense the desperateness and creepiness through my car window on the other side of the street. Only went to two clubs. First night ran into some black chick who was part of an African scam circle, tried hussling me. Second night, somehow bumped into them again and security kicked em out, different club. Would not live there unless a smaller city. Had a good time but unless you know the language or have a serious tan, you're just an ATM.

I’m not staying in the old sex tourist part. Agreed, I was over there a couple nights ago and it was not good vibes. But if you can avoid that scene it’s a good place.

Thailand only seems enjoyable for those who are more outdoorsy types. Plenty of hiking and nice natural beauty and mountains. Unfortunately, the biggest drawback for me is that just by being a foreigner, every guy/local hates you. They knew exactly why foreigners come there and even if that's not your intention, the damage has already been done. Other places in Asia like Japan or South Korea, foreigners go there either to work or because they are just sight seeing or are hardcore into the culture. Thailand is not it and they know that. Would choose Thailand as a legit last resort if I needed to.

Lol I’m closer to pic 2, but I also hate that type of traveler myself. That’s the “beginner” type which I also get tired of.

I’ve been to like 60 countries now, and locals are much worse in places I’ve already been on this same trip. Thai people obviously view tourists as nothing more than walking ATMs, but at the same time they are harmless and aren’t blatantly trying to rip everyone off. It was much worse in parts of Africa than here.

For sure, it's like the go to I'm going to Thailand look. Strong piece of advice, in the 6 years I lived out of country, I only met 1-2 people who I would consider true friends and would depend on in an emergency situation or my life was in danger. Don't get fooled into a false sense of security just from people acting friendly. Every time you walk outside of your hotel/hostel you're in more danger than you realize. Also, LEARN THE LANGUAGE. It'll get you out of bad situations before they even begin. On the scale of stupid that travelers do, it's not learning language basics.

I only speak English and likely won’t learn any other languages, but I’m not naive and have traveled extensively. Have lots of experience getting out of situations and bribing cops. I’ve found that using Taxi apps like Uber and others eliminated like 90% of all shenanigans that happen when traveling, and the rest is just not acting like an idiot or showing fear.

I’m 6’3” 240, so not that many people are seriously willing to fuk with me.

Bangkok is pretty modern and has a good train system. But it definitely isnt filled with HBBs. I went to a high-end sky bar there and most of the rich tourist girls (asian or white) were better looking.

I was also including the tourist girls in the HBB calculation. Lots of 7/10+ tourists here, especially compared to other places.

For n00bs and incels, its actually better if you go there with the least amount of advice and research, you'll enjoy your time alot more

I had a similar experience, although it was 5 years ago now. I didn't care for Bangkok initially either, but I think I was just being a sook. Jetlag and humidity kicked my ass. Took a bit but the place grew on me.

Like you said the party scene seemed pretty forced and the whole place just had a trashy vibe.

While you're in the general area I recommend Vietnam it was super chill and more genuine in comparison.

Koh Phi Phi was the goat for degeneracy when I was in Thailand Bangkok was okay but I only spent a couple of days there, I prefer to be by the sea.
