I'd be interested in learning more about how Brady's will to win is better and why exactly Mahomes' is lacking. It's still early in Mahomes' career. He doesn't need to do the extracurricular stuff that Bradyhas todo yet. The longevity and devotion is just a time factor. Brady has been playing for 2 decades. Mahomes isn't even close to that so to mention longevity and devotion just seems like a way to just prop Brady up more. Objectively looking at the tangibles, Mahomes is a much better QB. I hate admitting it but it's true.

I will concede that in 2022 and beyond Mahomes is a better QB

I don’t think playing QB requires what it used to. Nowadays you just need to be mobile enough to survive 8+ seconds. Essentially backyard little kid football. Dumbed down like everything else with diversity standards

When the mobility goes, I don’t think a lot of these QBs will be worth much

Ya the league is already very invested in Mahomes being the face of the league for the next 10+ years. That's why they didn't want the Burrow owns him narrative to go on any longer.

This is the fun stuff to read when everyone cries about missed calls.

Holding will not be called “if, during a defensive charge, a defensive player uses a ‘rip’ technique that puts an offensive player in a position that would normally be holding.” Rule 12, Section 1, Article 3, Note 1.i.

Nobody will ever surpass Brady in championship wins. Kind of like Gretzky's point total or Wilt's 100 point game. Even getting four puts you in one of the GOAT talk and he has SEVEN.

In fact, I'd be surprised if Mahomes got more than two rings. Still puts him in elite level though.

Who knows, it'll on depend on if Mahomes can stay healthy. He's starting out pretty good so far. Superbowl wins are not a QB stat, contrary to what Brady fans think.

Burrow and Josh Allen have the same number of regular season wins against Mahomes.

They had Mahomes throw last year’s AFCCG to ensure the Rams would win a Super Bowl in LA. Too much money to pass up.
All it takes is Mookie Betts, Steph Curry, and Joe Burrow all sitting in the same car in order for one drunk driver to make the world a significantly better place.

I'm proud of you, man. A year ago, you wouldn't have been able to admit even this. Mahomes is better in every tangible aspect prior to 2022 imo, though.

QB definitely isn't what it used to be for sure, but it's still the same importance. More RPOs, screens, bootlegs, etc than back in the day but you put Mahomes back in the early 2000s and he'd still be unbelievably successful. You put him on some of the SB teams from then and it'd be nuts. Imagine him with the 05 Bears or 07 Pats. Good lord.

9/11 happens and then the Pats start winning SBs. Quite the coincidence. Nothing quite like drumming up patriotic support than having the Patriots become a dynasty.

Bingo. Championships are a TEAM achievement in football. Brady has won SBs while playing like ****. Hell, Marino is still top 5 with 0 rings. Had he won a couple he'd still be #1.

NE\Brady fans will never agree with that, but this isn't basketball where 1 player can make enough of an impact to literally win championships by themself (Dirk Nowitzki). You have to rely on, at minimum, 30 other teammates, coordinators, and decisions by the HC. While rings do help, which is stupid, it's not the checkmate so many people think it is.

It's weird watching Cinci fans (which is really just the Homos for Burrows fan club) blaming the refs when last year they got a touchdown on an inadvertent whistle that should have been a dead ball

NFL has done a great job of marketing the impact of the quarterback position. People from all ranges of IQs and genders now watch the sport and share their opinions on the forward pass.

The real crime of the year was a team with a losing record getting to host a home playoff game against a team with a winning record
