Part and parcel for western media in current year. Every show is going to have some element of “the message” they’re trying to push, to varying degrees.

You should pretty much expect something like this any time you tune in to these new shows.

Yes the characters were gay. No you don't ever see them do anything gay. No you don't get any of their backstory. You only ever meet one of them (they don't unalive themselves over a romantic dinner in the game). The other, you find his body with a note that basically says "Bill I hate your guts ph4aggot so I left and stole ur ****. Fuk you, always hated you. - Love Frank"

The whole purpose of this section of the game is to get a vehicle. So... kinda ended up in the same spot in the TV show. The difference is, in the game you run around with Bill blasting zombies and bitching at each other until they find a car. The show takes a slightly different approach, by having an hour long "Bill and Frank fall in love, live together, and die together by od'ing on Oxy" movie (Complete with chest hair to chest hair "wouldn't their weeners be uncomfortable in that position" sex scene), and bequeath a car to Joel after their passing.

Some of you were so excited about TLOU series, hoping it wouldn't be on that ph@ggytime like the vidya gayme. Posting how great it was and that you're hooked.

Then BAM! A full hour of ph@ggotry right in the middle of the series. Now you have to keep watching it till the season ends, never knowing when ph@ggytime will return, until it's too late and you're watching two ph@gs fuking.

Edit: moral of the story is dont think you can escape clown world by sitting in front of a screen. That screen is literally what created clown world.

This is the reason some people are turning to foreign shows like Squid Game. Zero filler episodes. And definitely no episodes dedicated to the life and drama of a gay couple.

Haven’t seen the show but did play the game. They were both characters. Bill is important. Frank is already dead and makes no appearance other than as a corpse. That they were in a relationship and had a falling out is used as part of the plot but really nothing else is revealed about them. That they were partners was the extent of the gayness.
