Theres a bat in my basement

Wat do?

Saw it on Friday, ignored thru the weekend but Im tired of living in fear. Do I get a tennis racket and try to take it to snap city? Id love a non combat solution here

If I leave my window open at night I'd have at least 3-4 bats come through my gaffer srs. Its only a fuking bat lol, chase it upstairs out the window or catch it and let it outside.

Didn’t watch vid but I’m sure this is a better option then swinging for the fences with a tennis racket.

I went the tennis racket route, mostly because the bat came in at 4 AM and my wife was pregnant, so we needed an immediate solution. They work great because the bat's sonar can't see the strings. If you hit it but aren't going for a kill shot, it just stuns it, after which I captured it in a shoe box and put it outside. It got up and flew away after a couple mins, no harm done.

Also, bruh, horse chit video. They give no advice on how to actually CAPTURE the bat they just over emphasize you should be careful with it once captured.

I had a ****h0t bird in my basement a few weeks ago. Tried to catch it with a fishing net, but that was impossible, didn't come close.

We thought we heard one in the chimney last year and my wife did the same thing your talking about. I thought it was bs but i dont know anything about bats. But we didn't hear it again after she did it either.
