I remember people here and elsewhere online bitching to no end about 'trannies' in the last of us 2. I finally got it on discount and there was no tranny. What we got was a muscular butch woman who also wasn't gay as she got railed by a dude at some point. If I remember correctly, her father was murdered so she tried everything she could to get revenge by lifting and training into adulthood to become physically capable and survive a post-apocalyptic world. Seems the non-lifters online were probably just intimidated and shook that a woman was more muscular than they were.

Have not watched that episode but thought the first 2 were pretty decent adaptions. Mind you, haven't played game 1 in 10 years. If it's people losing their minds because 2 gay dudes make out on screen, grow up (srs). If it's 60 minutes of 2 dudes ramming each other's colons vigorously and without end, then what the fuk man. What does it add to the story? Will soon find out.

No chit it would have been better if it were a hetero love story (though I don't see the point of a full episode of one dedicated to side characters in a dark limited series about apocalypse). God, are people actually angry with this episode? I went into it thinking "get ready for some gay bombardment, misc said so" but it was just an episode that centred aroudn two characters from the game, fleshing out their back-story, and yeah they're gay. Didn't feel preachy or anything at all. The bit where they first hook up felt like it went on for a while, yes, but that's because they're trying to show how awkward it is for them, especially Bill. If you sped up that bit it's honestly not bad at all.

And we're on to Pittsburgh for the next episode. Good times a-coming.

Anybody who actually thought this show was just game 1 didn’t do their research properly

The whole point of game 2 was to shoehorn in things that they knew they couldn’t do with game 1 as they now had an established audience as all gay alphabet fukery tends to get thrown in (aka west world)

They even admitted the show would take heavily from game 2 even tho they are starting where game 1 did as they said the game was always meant to be this way and was only corrected with game 2 so we shall make sure the show is like that

Anybody who is on board with it is either fully out or hoping to see people accepting it and working up the courage to be out and need this show to succeed to help them make that leap

As long as there is normal people who will make fun of it there is still hope
