Anyone else disappointed with ErnieMccracken's return?

His threads aren't the same quality. Mostly a rehash of ideas and seems to be trying too hard.

Thoughts?

There are only a few topics that get any real engagement on the misc. Clown world, hnnng threads, astronauts, vaxcels, MOGGING, etc.

Thanks for your feedback, though. I'll consider it carefully. Maybe we should start a thread to discuss the flaws in the Markowitz equation.

I agree that he’s a touch more try hard compared to Ernie of old, most notable in threads he starts. His replies in other people’s threads are more reminiscent of his former self.

He's better than I remember, srs.

Old Ernie exaggerated stats and stories for the ain't-it-awful rustle, and basically acted like a more sophisticated version of ChaliHo. New Ernie is way too bitter to troll and just goes straight to dropping blackpills. It's awesome to see him just cut to the really uncomfortable point.

Dude is legitimately one of the smartest posters on the misc and is ludicrously based. Probably 90% of his posts are rep worthy, ded fukkin srs.

For the record, I was the COS lead on an M&A team at a fortune 50. I would never call myself a MOGGER, but I was definitely around a bunch of them.

My biggest achievement was getting >1M hotel points.
