What month is straight white male history month?

When do we ever focus on the group that actually built and maintained the earth for the past few thousand years?

Seems like every insignificant group gets their special month. If you're a black mexican m2f transgender you get like 6 different months.

White history month is every month. Black History month was created because it wasn't being taught in schools and there were many school districts (primarily in the deep south) that refused to teach anything about the history of black people in America, not even slavery. So, our government (ironically under the Ronnie Reagan administration) decided to recognize it federally.

I don't know about the other cultural and ethnic appreciation months, but I'm pretty sure BHM is the only one that is federally recognized.

My biggest issue with "Black History Month" (quotes because it has literally almost NOTHING to do with history) is that people act like blacks living in the US are exactly the same as the ones living in African huts, but with iPhones. History of the Congo? Might as well be history of Atlanta, GA. What's the difference? Not pandering at all...

Who gives a literal **** about Africans? Schools barely teach anything about the history of this country at all, so I could care less if "African history" is ignored if they'd at least focus on something directly relevant to the US. 1. since when were we content with simply not knowing about something? When I took World History We DID learn about Egypt and the ME and China and Japan and Mesoamerica. Africa is always that one country that gets very little attention unless its regarding west Africa and the slave trade.

Think I remember a thread where someone asked if there are any literal black astronauts and no one knew who Mae Jamison was or who Ronald McNair is. So that's why.
