Just trying to find some good fitting dress shirts. Got a big job interview coming up. But I just want to start dressing nicer anyways. Where do you boys shop for dress shirts/clothes?

just go to express. the clothes aren't the best quality but you can get a solid white dress shirt for an interview which is what you really need it for

I've gotten dress clothes from Kohl's before and have never been disappointed. I tend to buy Apt. 9 or Van Heusen.

Fit is very important to me and i workout, so i need to try the items on in person....... so for me that is Nordstrom Rack, Macys, and Nordstrom.

tbh no mainstream store is gonna have a good fit shirt unless you just get lucky as fuk. try finding dress shirts online that are designed for athletic/built guys, and preferably ones with good return policy if shirts don't fit quite right.

Depends on body type/build and what stores you have access to. If you want to be sure it fits right, you have to try it on. My personal go-to is brooks brothers, but if I was a skinny twink build I would probably go with Bonobos.

Glad to see people mentioned Charles Tyrwhitt so many times after reading the OP.

But OP if you lift, you may have problems with fit. I get custom shirts from Turnbull & Asser - give them a try too and see how you like their styles and materials.

Have had the best luck with quality and fit with these from Nordstrom. If you can’t find a stock size for your neck and arm length ratio you may need to get them altered. But they usually have a pretty good combination of sizes in stock of these. (This link is for solid color but they have other varieties, i have a few stripes etc in addition to white and blue solids)

H&M and Express. Get Slim Fit. With 5% Spandex/Stretch and 95% Cotton. And get them dry cleaned not laundered. Laundered will stretch the shiit out of them and ruin them.

I like my Eton dress shirts but they’re not quite as “fitted.” They’re great under a suit or sport coat though.

Why strong wtf? Getting a proper shirt from a quality shirt maker can last you years. Try the same with some Hugo Boss off the rack shirts <-- not knocking them if purchased out of necessity. But quality shirt makers on Jermyn St have survived this long for a reason. Inb4 'hype' - nope, nobody recognizes the brands I wear. Not the Ozwald Boateng bespoke suits, not the shirts, etc. It's mostly women that'll come to me at some meeting and go 'woah, nice suit' - so there is mogging in this, but yeah.

Eton is fun - do they still do the patterned cuff roll-up? For the lifters with a tan: you roll up the sleeves on a summer day, and the pattern pops. F'n awesome for social wear too.
