These marriage vs no marriage thread come up all the time and every time the result is the same:

People who do it right and are happily married are obviously always better off than everyone else. They’re happier, more fulfilled, more emotionally stable, and more sexually satisfied.

Everyone who failed to achieve a happy marriage is just coping.

I will say though, that after being happily married it’s probably better to be single and lonely than married and miserable.

Well said...you can also be happily married until you arent. I have had friends and family be happily married for decade or more and then end up in a nasty divorce.

Bored? No. Some instances are more exciting than others, sure, but it's pretty much always good. I guess if you want to call an evening where neither of us is interested "bored" then, sure, that happens occasionally. Within a day or so we're generally ready to go again. As far as wanting to get with other women, that's never been an issue. You just have to control your thoughts. If every time you see a pretty girl, you start to fantasize about what it would be like to be with her you're going to have a hard time sticking to one woman.

20 years this summer btw. We have our struggles and neither of us is perfect, but we get along well, and I think we have a pretty good life.
