Why would it be hard to believe?

He and I had a connection since we are both addicts (me with the eating disorder) so it was definitely beyond FWB. He was really caring and kind to me and kissed me in front my co-workers while dropping me off at work in his red Mustang.

When he got out of jail I offered to go to NA meetings with him to support him. I was there for him to become sober.
