It's not really a dropshot I run a 2inch curly tail grub on a 1/8 pink jig with a Shad spoon 18 inches under.
My son runs double grub and that day he got 4 doubles.
Here's the first cast of the day.

I was up at the crick one time with my pa and we snagged us a catfish... that sucker woudlnt get off the ever lovin floor of the lake. We had to row her into shore until it was shallow enough for me to scoop eem with my hands.

All our water is going to be stained. It's a byproduct of clay riverbeds and leaves/pinestaw.
