They explained it on a podcast, basically they made a video about someone being attacked wearing a maga hat saying don't attack people for wearing a hat. They have a live show they do around the country at comedy clubs. Saw them in the line up for the Tampa Improvetwo years ago. Thought who would show up to listen to two jacked guys make faces and squel with each other talking about pumps and gains while drawing out each word for 5 seconds.

I liked them in 2012 when youtube fitness peaked.

They basically said they would run out of material talking about nothing but fitness. Plus they started out a bit up there in age, so pivoting to non fitness probably takes some off the pressure of having to look 100% jacked and lean constantly.
Fitness people tend to be conservative. Getting swole takes discipline and if you fail you have only yourself to blame. That's a conservative mindset. Also, as stated before they are older, they are not into that tranny degenerate woke non-sense. They found a spot where they can make money talking about clown world, and they took it.

I do miss the old intros though...hey man, you lookin' build some muscle?
