What is the best smartphone on the market right now?

I've included a couple different models for certain brands because I know that sometimes the newest isn't always the best. For example if the iPhone 8 came out, maybe there were people that said that the 7 was better and that they added features that were not good etc.

Also, after checking most of the main mobile company websites, there are no LG phones available. I guess LG doesn't make phones anymore. I swear an LG phone I had was the best.

depends on what you already have. if it's android, then a newer android. if it's an iphone, then a newer iphone. reason being is because both have their own ecosystem, and switching from one to another can be very inconvenient for many.

are you saying that it's always better to go newer..

currently i have a huawei and i can't stand it. i had a samsung once, i didn't mind it. it wasn't special though, still had annoying features that bugged me.

as for iphone, there was a story in the news years ago about how they purposely slow down their older phones to try to coerce people into upgrading. i've been kind of anti apple since then

There is still no excuse.. they tried to say it's to protect the phones and that they would never do anything to deterioerate the experience of the user but we all know that's a load of bs. they did it to coerce people to buy new phones

if you think about it everything gets slower/chittier after a few years.

will a new car run the same as a 7 year old one? nah.

does 7 year pc run the last gen games? no way.

so even if they’d intentionally do it, it wouldn’t make any difference. hardware improves every year and new features require more computing power. older devices can barely keep up withour sacrificing UX

best all-around phone is the iphone srs. can't go wrong with any of the models but the 14 pro max is the biggest and baddest

100% chance im never buying an iphone.. and i honestly LOVED my iphone til it started slowing down to like 10% the speed it was at for the first 3 or so years. it's too bad really


so far im leaning towards a nexus.. lot of positive feedback on them
